PilotGaea Invited to the Largest GIS Conference in Taiwan!
PublishedPilotGaea was invited to participate in the annual meeting and symposium of the Taiwan Geographic Information Society (TGIS) to present its latest R&D achievements in 2020 and demonstrate the infinite possibilities of geographic information in various industries, triggering heated discussions and attracting the attention of industry, government, and academia.
The annual conference and symposium of Taiwan Geographic Information Society held at National Cheng Kung University for two days (12/10 and 11) is a major event of geographic information in Taiwan, attracting many academic institutions and related technology companies to participate every year.
PilotGaea uses real-time monitoring system, 3D sewer lines and 3D buildings as research targets to improve management efficiency through 3D spatial technology, establishing the foundation for smart cities and promoting industrial development. The research results are published in "Smart City" and "Smart Space" sections of the ten themes in the Proceedings of the Annual Meeting and Symposium of Taiwan Geographic Information Society.
PilotGaea has published a collection of papers compiled from research results, including a paper on the "Wisdom Space" agenda for the Geoscience Yearly Meeting, with a joint presentation by the author of the paper and the agenda chair.
PilotGaea is the only mainland-based core development arsenal in Taiwan, and has exhibited many collaborative projects between PilotGaea and local governments, such as the Intelligent Sewerage System, the Geopolitical Management System, and many other projects that allow private companies to solve spatial problems, such as the Intelligent Supervision System, etc. The "high efficiency", "high authenticity", and "high versatility" of the project are fully demonstrated in the project.
VP Jin Chang Lee  said: "PilotGaea has been developing technology for many years, and in the process of developing Smart City, we have been accumulating and deepening our technology, and in addition to that, we have been advancing our hardware technology, which will help to promote the development of Smart City.
PilotGaea will continue to accumulate technological capabilities to compete both domestically and internationally, and will continue to monitor trends in Smart markets and trends in positioning, combining spatial information, connectivity, and hardware, and developing and integrating capabilities to accelerate the realization of Smart cities and improve Taiwan's technological competitiveness.
